Lucy Wilson-Barnes has experience in trials, interim hearings and advising clients in professional negligence cases in the following areas:

Valuers and Surveyors negligence, including issues of homebuyers reports, contributory negligence and calculation of recoverable loss.

Solicitors negligence in connection with conduct of litigation, probate and 'disappointed beneficiaries', Barclays Bank v O'Brien issues concerning the giving of security by wives/third parties and the conduct of conveyancing in relation to the duties to mortgagee and mortgagor.

Accountants negligence involving VAT advice.

She also advises in relation to misfeasance issues concerning insolvency practitioners.

She has acted on behalf of Claimants and Defendant professionals.

Lucy has been a member of the Professional Negligence Bar Association since 1995.
