Lucy Wilson-Barnes
Lucy Wilson-Barnes undertook pupillage at St James's
Chambers and became a tenant in 1990. Her practice is traditional Chancery
and commercial work. She undertakes contentious and non-contentious work
in the areas of company, partnership, probate, trusts, real property and
conveyancing, and litigation in professional negligence, insolvency and
directors disqualification. Her practice also encompasses a wide range
of commercial litigation with a particular focus on contractual disputes
concerning commercial developments, confidential information and restraint
of trade.
Since being appointed to the Provincial Panel of Junior
Counsel to the Crown in 2000 she has represented the DTI on directors
disqualification matters and has had experience in a variety of other
work, including representing the Crown in a number of prison law cases
