Fayaz Hammond

 

Fayaz grew up in Didsbury and joined chambers upon completion of his pupillage in January 2001..

His practice covers three main fields, personal injury, immigration and ancillary relief.

Fayaz appears for claimants and defendants in all aspects of personal injury litigation. He has particular experience of dealing with RTA fraud cases, where for example, low velocity impact, staged accident or phantom passenger syndrome are alleged. Fayaz also has experience in obtaining freezing orders in personal injury cases.

Fayaz has a wide experience of immigration work and regularly appears in Asylum & Immigration Appeals Tribunals, and the Administrative Court. His practice also encompasses other human rights areas such as housing and social security work as well as CICA tribunals.

Fayaz undertakes ancillary relief hearings of all values, for both private funding and pubicly-funded clients. He presents CPD accredited seminars in personal injury, immigration and family law.

Fayaz has a devotion to Manchester City and enjoys contemporary American fiction, most sports, travel and food.
