Debut Novel for James Hurd
James Hurd has spent a number of years writing his first novel, titled 'A Bold Deceiver' which was published in August 2008.
In a recent article with the Manchester Evening News James said,
"I had the idea for the plot sitting in the back of a taxi, started writing and kept persevering".
"It's a nice feeling to see the book in print, after the effort and time I put in. There was a lot of emotional investment in creating the characters, writing the story and doing the research. It's not going to make me a millionaire, but I am proud to have people reading it."
James is now working on his second book "The Ghost of Lauren Black"
