Chairman of the Bar visits Chambers
We were delighted to welcome Peter Lodder Q.C., Chairman of the Bar to chambers this morning (Tuesday 25th October 2011).
During our meeting with him various issues relating to the Bar and it's future in the legal market were discussed.
Accompanying him was Michael Todd Q.C. the current Vice-Chairman who takes the Chair in January 2012.

Sarah Lawrenson appointed as a TECBAR Adjudicator
Sarah Lawrenson has been appointed by the Technology and Construction Bar Association (TECBAR) to sit as an Adjudicator. Chantal-Aimee Doerries QC confirmed the appointment on 24th May 2011.

Chambers are delighted to announce that Barrie Searle, David Binns & James Hurd have been appointed as Legal Assessors to the Health Professions Council with effect from 1st June 2010. Chambers wish each member every success in their appointments.
Email Scam
Individuals have recently been subject to identity theft relating to inheritance of estates. If you receive an email from anyone purporting to be a member of St. James's Chambers and informing you of a possible claim disregard it immediately. The information featured within the email, ie. email address, telephone numbers and address details do not correspond with the professional contact details that chambers use.
Members of chambers will not contact you via email directly in relation to any matter.
